Why I don’t celebrate Christmas.

I don’t celebrate because I just don’t believe in occasions like Christmas, because I think goodwill towards men should be an everyday attitude rather than a one-day-a-year thing. Also, the whole give and receive thing is redundant, and it’s the one time I think redundancy is bad. Besides, Christmas and gift giving is so predictable.

Random gift giving, however? Unpredictable and more surprising. Try it sometime.

I’m also not a religious person.

I hope those were good enough explanations for not celebrating the holidays. If you aren’t satisfied with that and still feel compelled to shove the holidays down my throat or call me a Scrooge, then that’s your prerogative. It would actually work to my benefit, because I might: (a) solve a mystery, or (b) rewrite history.
