Geoff Johns geekery.

“ZOMG!! Geoff Johns is writing a Superman comic? Must buy now!”

That’s the collective cry of comic supergeeks worldwide when DC announced the fantacular news.

Geoff Johns is such an awesome writer that DC could release a titular superhero comic about him that could be written by himself, and it would be a bestseller.

I just read the first issue of Adventure Comics, and even though he changed his writing style in this series, it’s still pretty cool. He twists things in a not-so-epic-but-still-Geoff-Johns way.

And who hasn’t checked out Blackest Night? Creepy and mind-blowing (sorry, Sheldon Cooper), to say the least. Although I was a little non-plussed to learn that Blackest Night: Batman didn’t get the Johns treatment, I saw the plotline coming and was still hyped about it, so I didn’t get too worked up over that detail.

In other related news, but not related to Geoff Johns, I finally got around to downloading the Arkham Asylum demo (roommate borrowed my PS3 for a month). The game is… well, awesome. The battle system is fun, and sneaking around Batman style is just too cool. Another must buy.
